Zen store on PC and Zen store on console do not have the same items. AFAIK, there is no token pack in the console stores.

Not sure about ps4 but on xbox it's called the companion helper pack. 45 tokens, idle comp slots and a lesser bonding for 1400 zen

Thank you. Ive never noticed the pack....I guess it's still better to buy companion packs, for the same amount of diamonds your guaranteed about 26 tokens with 13 chances at 35.... plus all the refinement

How much is the new pack and what's in it?

500 Zen and 15 upgrade tokens.

500 zen! That's basically 150k AD for 15 tokens (if AD is cheap at 300ish which is slightly lower than what it is on XB1). That pricing for tokens is beyond ridiculous.

    It takes:
30 tokens to go to Uncommon or 50k AD
60 tokens for Rare or 250k AD
90 tokens for Epic or 500k AD
120 tokens for Legendary or 1M AD

The token packs would come out to:
    30 tokens for 300k (6x more)
    60 tokens for 600k (2.4x more)
    90 tokens for 900k (1.8x more)
    120 tokens for 1.2M (1.2x more)

Why would anyone buy these packs?!?

If I buy companion upgrade boxes at least i have a shot at getting 30 bonus tokens. NW is seriously out of touch with the economy of items in this game. They've proven it time after time with these QoL additions to the Zen market.

Example. I have 38 tokens from lockboxes. I need 12 more tokens or all of the AD to upgrade. In this case, it is more profitable to the player to buy the tokens.

I disagree. I think it's more profitable to buy companion packs, open them, and sell the contents. I think what you're calling profitable in your example is, to me, really meant to say, "it's far more convenient to the player to buy the tokens".

I get your reasoning. It's just not the way I would personally look at it. To me it's short sighted and getting ripped off isn't worth it. I know I'll probably want to upgrade another companion at some point so I rather just bide my time patiently than go for the immediate satisfaction of overpaying for tokens.

You didn't ask why you should buy them, you asked "Why would anyone buy these packs?!?" which I answered.

I won't debate whether it should be called more profitable or more convenient. I just accept that there is a market and that is all that is needed to justify selling the product. Cryptic needs to sell to keep the game going and small purchases are easier to encourage than large ones.
