Special quest bugged...again.

Hello, on one of my toons, a TR has a special quest called 'obtain a companion'. This quest has been bugged for a long time. It won't complete out. I remember a long time ago many players had this bug. It was fixed then, however, this character was a premade level 70 bundle from the zen store and seemed to be uneffected by the fix. Not a major issue but more of an annoyance. Weekly maintenance hasn't fixed the issue either.

    maybe you need to open the box? It's been a while but I remember going into that place, talking to the companion guy, picking a companion then having to talk to the other companion lady and a zen market dude and a chest would light up for me to grab something out of - and the quest would complete.

    I've done this quest on 6 other toons no problem. I've talked to all the npc's, bought and equipped the companions (all of them) and tried to open the chest. Nothing..

    I have the same bug but with the Sharandar Campaing, i finish 100% but it not gone, i enter and inside is empty only appear "goodbye"

    I'm having the same issue on my scourge warlock (Sara) with the Icewind Dale campaign. I used a token after it said I meet the requirements (be level 70) even though I had never been to care-konig and the campaign completed got all the boons and upgrades but in my special task tab it says "Icewind Dale campaign" and I can't get rid of the pop-up. The companion special task bug is still present on my Control Wizard (Valindra who was created from Knox Adventurer pack). Can you guys please address this it's really tiresome for those who the associated quests done and can't do anything to remove it.

    Having the same problem here with a purchased Level 70 Character. "Obtain a Companion" is listed as special quests, but the only option is "Goodbye". Stupid Golden Arrow won't go away because I can't complete the darn quest.
