Offensive Armor Enchantments

Hey guys, sometime around 9-12 months ago somebody posted a comparison of Fireburst, Briartwine and Frostburn and the ACT results showed Fireburst did notably more damage than the other two.

I cannot for the life of me find that post - does anyone remember it, or better yet are they able to find it?

Actually don't worry I found it - it was in @neopreen 's mod 8 build: here

It's worth noting that this was before the updates to the proc rates (which happened about 6 months later) so it'd be really helpful if someone on PC was able to re-test them.

For the record, the difference between them was considerable; tested during EToS runs, the Frost & Briar did around 300-350k total damage whereas the Fireburst did around 2.2 million.

This was before the internal cooldowns on Fire & Frost were reduced so they'd do better now.

With the new meta (since then) of lower DR & more SoF instead of the Bubble, it's probable that the Briartwine would also do more damage as it reflects 5% of net damage received.

New meta is a lot of divine judgement, not SoF

That would depend on the group. I pug a lot so there's often people in the group that don't have the survivability of well geared players. In higher end groups I'll use DJ unless there's a big hit about to land.
