Well today I upgraded an enchantment which worked but, "when I look to see how much my score went up", I find that my score went down by 1500 hundred points. This is the second time in less than 10 days, so, in my opinion you have a bug or PWE is singling me out for harassment..
I should be @ 13769 or more. Please help.

Any chance you're accidentally summoning / un-summoning your companion? That's worth a lot of ilvl right now.

No, companion was inactive. Nice point. Just ran a test though and un-summoning my companion lowers my score by 1500 points. Thanks that might solve it. Will check with my other toon to see if the same happens. By the way the devs never said that to me. Stay tuned.

That confirms it un-sommuning my toon on my other tune does the same. Thanks dupeks very cool.

It was a recent change that summoned companions contribute to ilvl, I doubt customer service knows (they know very little about the game). Glad you were able to figure it out :)

customer service is anything but. they are definitely NOT the devs. lol. and they appear to be customer servicing everything in the portfolio for this company. they have no clue.

Customer service helped me the other day with something specific and simple in game that I was mistaken about, so at least some of them must know the game...

The new item level still takes some getting used to, like companion summoned or not. I find it odd that summoned or unsummoned would change my item level, I still have the companion, it's not like he is idle....but whatever, takes some getting used to.

The other thing I noticed is changing guild boons around will change the item level if not all boon are at the same rank, such as maybe one boon is still being built up to its current max level.

I had someone in my guild claim they lost IL points when upgrading a dragon's hoard enchant from R8 to R9 with no other changes. I am not sure if there were other changes at the same time, they claim no, but I am not sure about that.

Also I think many of us are just plain old too hung up on this number...it is just a number. Can you enter the dungeon you need to enter and once there can you clear the content or not? That would be a better thing to focus on. I find several people are trying to make the number bigger as fast as they can but are still focusing on the easiest or cheapest way to change the number rather than focusing on what would make their character better in a run.
