[XBOX] New Item Level fluctuates

In general, I like the new IL. However, the other night my IL was 11k+ and finally got into Fangbreaker. Today it had dropped to 9.8. Anyone had similar experiences? Still working out the kinks?
Adding up all my item levels by hand, I get between 9.1 - 15k depending on if you include everything or not.

    If you lose your summoned companion, you lose the item level gained from its gear and stones.
