STATS DIFFRENCE IF WE WOULD SWITCH TO CLOAK OF PROTECTOR SET FROM VALHALLA

We gain in stats by switching set bonus from Valhalla to the Protector set:

Power: 0 DIFFRENCE
Deflection: 0 DIFFRENCE
Recovery: + 1000

We would lose ( if you did not have water of Elah'zad and replaced horn of Valhalla for water of Elah'zad)

COMBAT ADVANTAGE: - 600
Crit: - 1000
HP - 4000 ( but we gain 6455 HP on switch)

Loses from switching Valhalla set to the new protector set.

Dex: -2
Lifesteal: -530

You can the replace Horn of Valhalla with another Artifact to get rid of the BAD Horn of Valhalla artifact stats.

Now all this taken in mind, we would gain more stats which is good stats.

But now for the experts with there calculations, would the total HP stat and CON gain be better than the Valhalla set bonus. Also taking in mind that the Valhalla set bonus builds up to 15% damage avoidance for 6 seconds ( 5 stacks is achievable on mobs but not that likely on Bosses)

What set would be better moving forward as Pure Tanks)

I'll say Valhalla set still comes in top. Lets say an avarage tank using Valhalla has 120k HP (lowballing estimate). 3% of that is 3,6k HP. So even with 1 stack, HP difference doesn't make up for the damage reduction loss and its no question at all if you can get more than 1 stack. The amount will raise too for a tank with higher HP.

Not only do I think the Valhalla set bonus is better from the tanks survivability standpoint, but the Valhalla set bonus also helps keep your team alive better.

For a GF who is looking to tank, that right there still keeps Valhalla on top for me.

Valhalla for the win, even wjth thw Protector stat edge.
That damage debuff, especially with KV is hard to beat.
