[PC] Xpadder

I have Xpadder and can't seem to get it to work with the game anymore. I have the newest version of Xpadder and prefer using a conroller set up as I have a hell of a time moving using WASD buttons. I had been using Xpadder for a good while, but had cut back game play to logging in to get my VIP rewards and invoking, came back to do some work in River District, and found that Xpadder does not seem to work anymore with Neverwinter. Is there a setting that needs changed for it to work, or is it not working at all anymore?

    Sadly none of the suggestions there really work as I have tried running as admin, and it still doesn't help. Also most of the topics there are dated well before the last time I had been using my controller on Neverwinter. I'm not sure what changed, the only thing I can think of is the big deal with shutting down older versions of DirectX or whatever before the mod that opened River District, but I'm not sure if Xpadder used or even relies on DirectX. I know it works by translating the controller button presses to keystrokes for Windows to understand, and it works fine outside of the game, but the second the loads the input is not translated. I know I had it working during the Winter Festival, but sometime after that it has stopped working with Neverwinter.
