Mechanical Altars Worth It?

Just wondering what peoples views on the Mechanical Altars from the Wonders Of Gond event are.

I know if you invoke at a Mechanical Altar you get a Mechanical Pack with random contents, but seeing as they cost a Wondrous Gizmo for 10 of them, I was curious whether people think they are worth purchasing or not?

    I couldn't say yes or no... because no one I know has bothered to make them, on the surface it didn't appear worth it to bother.

    Yeah I didn't bother in the end either. It takes quite a bit of farming (or profession resources) to be able to make a Wondrous Gizmo, and all you get in return from the Mechanical Altars is mainly RP items, so I'll work towards getting a Doohickey!!
