Boss dropped mount insignia, non-lootable

Boss drop mount insignias are non-lootable, unable to pick them up. And also is it WAI for Bosses in epic dungeons including masters not to drop anything? This is a real pain, i expect to be rewarded for the kill.
PS. Please check the loot tables, its a slap in the face to pick up rank 5s, peridots, etc. other "trash" from chests and that occasional boss drop in epic/current endgame dungeons.
