Establish Trade Routes (3rd task): Completing this task halves Evidence of Evil and Abandoned Treasures costs from the campaign store in the River District. [Cost: 144 Abandoned Treasures, 240 Evidence of Evil]
Reap the Rewards (4th task): Completing this task halves Evidence of Evil and Abandoned Treasures costs from the campaign store in the River District. [Cost: 240 Abandoned Treasures, 270 Evidence of Evil]
At the
Restore Commerce level a Weapon Set costs 1320 Abandoned Treasures, 180 Evidence of Evil.
If I were to complete Establish Trade Routes, then it would reduce to 660 Abandoned Treasures, 90 Evidence of Evil, for a total cost of:
804 Abandoned Treasures, 330 Evidence of Evil
If I were to complete Reap the Rewards, then it would reduce to 330 Abandoned Treasures, 45 Evidence of Evil, for a total cost of:
714 Abandoned Treasures, 555 Evidence of Evil
Considering that Evidence of Evil is the bottleneck in these currencies, why would one complete Establish Trade Routes much less Reap the Rewards? Even if one were to get 2 weapon sets, completing Establish Trade Routes would cost in total 420 EoE vs 360 EoE. It only becomes cheaper if you were to get 3 weapon sets - but who would do this??
If there were more items in the River District Campaign store, this would make some sense, but when I look into it, only the weapon sets are available.
Please someone explain to me why they have these two extra tasks? It doesn't make any sense for me to do them

Its annoying to have to grind more EoE out juts to purchase weapons/discounts across multiple characters. I guess I've gotten past the point of expecting NW to be alt-friendly though.
