I finally got around to running Spellplague Caverns. I did not have a chance to run the old one before it was removed and we in basically uniformed about any of the mechanics to just experience the dungeon for the first time. The run went well and was a decent amount of time, not too long and not too short. I am really confused about the rewards at the end however.
The left chest had nothing but seals, I am not sure why I have to spend an epic key on seals. The right chest had the same, plus one purple salvage and a rank 5....A RANK 5!????!?? Rank 5's drop on the ground from killing literally everything in the game, how is this a reward from a dungeon that requires 3.x IL to enter?
I guess I am going back to CN, what a waste of dev cycles to make a dungeon that slaps you in the face at the end. I want my key and my time back on this one...
And here are the rewards:

Which is why I left this dungeon to be the last thing I unlock in the campaign...
Two more days to go till I have enough EoEs.
OP - Sunshine: 16000 IL
Casual Dailies
•Certain items dropped by a hidden boss in Spellplague Caverns now properly have icons.
•Rewards in Illusionist's Gambit have been adjusted at Silver and Gold ranks to provide more Refinement Points on average.
I still feel excluded from the dungeon content of several past modules though. None of these are PUG friendly as none of them could be run by a team of randomly chosen classes within the specified entry-level IL, even if they all take some time to learn all the boss mechanics. So the only way to run these is to join/run some pre-made with enough DCs, and the whole idea of begging to get a DC in a party sounds repulsive to me. I'll keep trying to PUG these and have fun trying, but as of today these are broken.
Just goes to show...Careful what you wish for.
The thing about "on average" means that 9/10 could have exactly the same, but as long as number 10 has even a little bit more the average goes up.
I'm sure that's not the case in this instance, of course...
