Ilvl has decreased.

My HR used to be about 12.5k.
Since logging in today, I have lost 1000.
I swapped out a companion, a green one, for a purple, put the gear it had on the new one. My ilvl dropped, from GREEN to PURPLE...
So I swapped it back in, now my ilvl has dropped even more!
I should have 12.5k but at this rate I won't even be able to enter a T3 dungeon.

Wait, that makes no sense. How did I lose ilvl still swapping from a green non-active companion to purple?
