I get this error message when trying to purchase ZEN through Steam Wallet.

Any reason why? Or does Cryptic hate Steam or something?

    Never, EVER, buy zen thru Steam.
    Buy through Arc.
    When you buy zen from Steam, you have to wait for it to 'clear' or anything/everything you buy is account bound.
    Steam pays Cryptic in batches, so it could be up to a week before your zen is 'clean'.
    Also, no bonus from Steam, nor 1st time buyers pack, like you can get from buying thru Arc.
