Spam in mail system cannot be reported

We used to be able to report spam that comes in our mail. Now I get this error.
[Error] Not sure who "Mod edited out name" is. Please provide the player's handle (e.g. "characterName@handle").

    I'm like 90% sure that the account who's name I edited out was already banned.

    Spammer is not banned/removed from game...if you search for that character with the find Character/Player tool by pressing "O" and then type in the name you will see that person online...every time I have done this, it shows the Player online, the instance of PE they are in and for some reason their level is never above level 34 and when inspecting they have very low level green dropped gear. They are online, but yet you can not report from inside the mail. There is a script being ran within the mail that is hiding their player name and only showing the handle without the @ symbol OR THE REPORTING METHOD IS BROKEN. Which is causing the spammer to not be found when reporting, it does not show the complete @XXXXX handle only XXXXX. I really can not believe they are condoning this activity from these 3rd party sellers. Seems easy enough to fix.

    I then ignore the player once I find them. Reporting to support with pictures of the Spam mail does nothing so far.

    I report them the second the spam hits my mailbox, but it still glitches.
    Doubt they're all banned within such a short amount of time, even if
    there is a delay between sending and receiving. I've yet to report one
    that works correctly.

    Agreed that it feels like there is something fishy going on. I've also reported spam mail within seconds of receiving it and still got the error message. And I haven't been able to successfully report a spam message in months.

    But we keep hearing "these are not the spammers you're looking for" and I keep receiving a large volume of spam emails.

    I guess from my limited point of view the evidence keeps mounting. For the sake of cryptic I hope that they have some intern look into this at least a little.

    Anything we player can do on our end to help with finding that bug?
    I do believe in killing the messenger...
    Want to know why?
    Because it sends a message!
