Guild and Alliance title glitch

My guild has been in an alliance for a little over a couple months now. I noticed this when we first joined and thought it would have been fixed by now...

The issue is: The floating title above characters' heads shows the name of the helm guild by default. While there is a selectable option to "Show Alliance Title" on the character screen, it is not able to be selected. Even though our character screen may say our guild title, other players see the alliance helm guild's name.

Yes, there is a stupid little workaround for this, but it is a never-ending battle when new members join, as their title often defaults to the name of the helm guild and NOT the guild they actually joined.

Please look into and see about resolving.

FYI - a ticket has been submitted a couple of different times, and it is ALWAYS suggested to post the issue here, on the forums.

Yeah we still have that glitch going on - the problem is that you don't even know it's happening to your character until someone else points it out. Then you have to jump through all of the hoops to get your guild name back, it's really irritating.

Another confirmation this happens, the work around is to change your title twice if it's already wrong, and then the third time set it to what you actually want it to be.

so it's like this, starts out:
the drenched - showing helm

change to faster than an ancient dragon - shows right guild, wrong title

change to hot feet - shows helm again

change to the drenched - now right title, right guild

Work around work around work around. That's all we can do. Somebody should make a work around thread so it can get stickied.
