Can't start game via Arc or client

Just tried to log into Arc and I get an unexpected error trying to patch Arc - was fine yesterday before the patch. Also tried to launch Neverwinter direct from the client.exe and get an update error. Please let me know how to get this sorted.

My internet connection is solid

Update: Have managed to load via Steam client, but still can't access or re-install Arc. Bit concerned as I have close to 40,000 Arc points stored up...

    My wife was having this issue after the update on PC. I had to go into our antivirus and add an exception for Neverwinter. After that, the patching process stopped freezing and she could play.

    Thanks for the advice. I've tried disabling Antivirus completely and also creating an exception for both Arclauncher and Neverwinter launcher and still have the same issue. Some good advice though, thanks again.

    Resolved now. Forgot to update my video drivers....oops...
