Was attacked from behind on spawnpoint in Hotenow Domination

I joined a match that had been underway for some time, where someone had obviously quit since they were facing a premade. As soon as I appeared on the spawn-point (I hadn't even left it yet) I started seeing SW encounter/at-will attack animations on me. I couldn't see where they were coming from until I turned approximately 135 degrees clockwise; there in the corner, in the sky was an SW from the opposing team attacking me! So weird...I repelled him (still standing on spawn-point) and he just disappeared somewhere into the sky. I asked what had happened or how he did it but I got no reply.

Bug? Something else?

It has been identified as a bug then. Odd, since it involves another player.
