If you set a flag for the fire lair or the heroic that spawns there, it puts you in the dig site directly north of it.
Ladder 69 in this image instead of the dark cul-de-sac underneath it in the south east corner of the map.

There's a similar bug in the stronghold trying to path to where the green dragon spawns.
