Calculating Refinement Points

I’ve recently acquired a Twisted set for my GWF, so I was wondering if anyone can tell me (or point me in the direction of a website where I can calculate myself), what rank my Twisted main hand weapon would get to if I infused my max rank (60) Drowned weapon into it. The same question goes for my rank 59 off hand weapon. This calculation would be based without double refinement.

I’m trying to work out whether I should upgrade my new Twisted set now, or wait about another 5 weeks or so until the next double refinement event, by which time I should have my new River District weapons and won't need the Twisted weapons anyway.

    Double refinement does not affect main and offhand weapons. Those are ALWAYS double refinement. It is also written in the item description that way ingame.

    Note that I put my max rank drowned set into my aboleth weapons and they were almost max rank afterwards (needed to put a little bit of refinement in them).

    U already have aboleth? How long did it take u? I just started river district this monday wondering how long I have to go to get it, if I do the first task that halves the cost.

    We did the math and if you only plan on getting one set - then upgrade the store once after opening - then buy the weapons you want.

    If @rainer#8575 is on PC then he has had the update for longer than we have. Still if you just do the daily quest you should get about 25 evidence of evil per day. As of right now I missed several days of being able to play and I'm over half way to my fey set.

    On and off, lol. I had to go play in the River District, but I'm only half way through my Mass Effecting :)

    I'm on PC indeed. I've been working on it (low prio) for about 3 weeks I think. Biggest bottleneck for me were the AMW. I had 20 arcanic focus left after I got the weapons (this is what you get if you work on it low prio...)

    Thanks for all the replies.

    After doing some more research I have discovered that all artifact gear gives 40% of its RP when infused into another piece of artifact gear, so therefore main and off hand weapons with their permanent 2x RP give 80% of their RP.

    So a max level 60 piece of gear has a total RP of 4645200, therefore when infused into another piece would give 3716160 RP which would take it up to just a few thousand RP short of level 57, and approximately 900k from max rank.

    As much as I’d like to try out the Twisted set, I think I’m going to wait until I’ve got the Aboleth set and upgrade that straight off instead.

    What class do u play? I'm guessing dps since u want aboleth, u may wanna do some research, don't take it from me but twisted may be better for deeps than aboleth.

    Sorry I was wrong, tried to redact my earlier post but couldn't. Aboleth looks to be better than twisted.

    There is about 18% dps difference caused by the base damage difference alone. So even if the twisted has it's set bonus at full ~4k power and the new sets had no set bonus at all, they (RD, relic) still would be better for DPS.

    Yeah, I know. I tried to edit my post but couldn't so I made another just under saying I was wrong.
