RnGeezus hates me (epic dungeon drops)

Just finished tyranny campaign and started making mystic/arcane keys and when I open chest I get the same drops (130neck/rings) out of both chest in epic shores (farming 150 helmet). Every 2-3 runs someone gets it and it's driving me insane cause I've burned almost 11 mystic keys.

Between that and getting nothing out of lock boxes/dungeons it's very depressing n makes me want to quit this game. Love this game but spending so much on keys and so much time crafting stuff and having nothing to show for it makes it hard to log back on.

I understand the pain. Most of the people I run with got their relic boots in less than 1/2 hr of running HEs. I've put in 9 hrs. Sometimes I wonder if there isn't a luck factor attached to our accounts when we start. I've gotten 3 coal wards from vault of piety chests but I know someone who hasn`t seen one yet. Sometimes it just seems that we`re lucky in certain parts of the game but unlucky in others. Good luck

It's interesting that you mention "luck factor". I can count the amount of decent drops I've gotten on my main with one hand over several years. Then on the flip side one of my alts pulls coals and 40% off coupons every week or 2.

My main characters couldn't get a good drop if their lives depended on it. They also can't ugrade a 20% chance without 50+ attempts (that almost caused me to quit the game, and may still if it happens again)

But I have an alt that I don't particularly enjoy playing - she has 3 forgehammers of gond all BTC, she also likes to pull other artifacts, and things that I really need on characters I like to play - all BTC. So even though she gets stuff, it's worthless to me in the grand scheme of things.

And I'm not kidding about the 20% chance to upgrade regularly taking 50+ tries. That's not 20%. And that is what will end up causing me to leave, sadly. The junk in the treasure chests and the lock boxes I can deal with - my progression being locked behind RNG however - especially RNG which is clearly a lie, is what will make me leave.

Just to show you the love RNGesus has for people -
We ran FBI for the first time as a full guild, and our tank (who mains a GWF) puts aside his favorite character so that we could have a tank for the run. What does he pull? The +5 ring of Dodd that he has been hunting for his GWF - only it's bound to character on his GF... I thought I was about to hear a grown man cry that day...

That's terrible luck. He will probably never see that ring drop on the character he actually needs it for, God I would be mad.

Okay so last week around Thursday I started tracking my dungeon drops - here is what I had from then until Sunday
41 dungeon/skirmish runs
CN-5
eLoL-8
VT-13
Malabog - 5
eToS - 3
eGWD - 2
FBI - 1
IG (gold runs) - 4

I ran these across 4 characters, my healadin, TR, GF and CW

There were a total of 14 boss drops from the possible 98 bosses (a 14.3% boss drop rate)
Across all of those dungeons I had a single non-salvage item drop. The Bloodstained Shirt from eGWD.

CN and eLoL appear to be the most AD lucrative. VT never gave us anything other than a piece of blue salvage.

I'm going to keep tracking for a while just to see what I get.

I get a lot of rocks from dungeon chests. Valindra was nice and let me have her sweater once, but other than that, mostly rocks. Oh, and hair. I'll have enough to make a cat soon.

Yeah, RNGeezus hates us all, but occasionally he remembers us mere mortals and smiles on us. I usually have really bad drops, but today got an unbound Symbol of Fire (green), a BtA Tiamats Orb, and an unbound Black Ice Beholder. The last two from the same chest in Kessels.
