Changes to weapon enchants

I know it scales now. Short question, does this do more, the same or less dps after the mod 11 change below?

I feel my dps has dropped w my trans lightning but it could be due to tougher river district mobs.

Lightning
The base damage dealt by this enchantment has been reduced by about 30%.
Its damage output should still be significantly increased from previous modules once Power scaling is taken into account.
Floating combat text for this enhancement is no longer quite as spammy.

The description text is different, the lightening does around 40% damage increase at perfect and 59% at trans plus some cooldown reduction. The result is more damage, the comment about reducing 30% I believe is 30% less than the original buff, it was too high. The end result is this hits almost as hard as a vorpal and in some cases maybe better depending on the build and mobs so more dps than the lightening used to provide.

    Short answer: Uh... sort of?

Say you were comparing prepatch Lightning to current Lightning in terms of DPS output. Current Lightning wins hands down, it got a flat DPS buff.

Now, say you're comparing current Lightning to Vorpal, then that depends on class and builld. Remember that enchantments like Dread and Vorpal have recieved 0 changes, so they're just as effective as before. But whether a new enchant beats out your pre-existing Dread/Vorpal is a different story.

In order to check whether (x) or (y) beats out your Vorpal/Dread, you would need to compare the DPS increases between the new enchant and your current one on your character.

That would be exceedingly difficult to test on consoles, so your best bet would be to spam a PC player who's good at testing to see what would be best for your class.

It depends on the type of aoe damage you do. damage that counts as separate per tick (such as Icy Terrain) procs Lightning on every tick but some other DoTs don't. As such it can multiproc groups of enemies and provide very high damage for the player.
