Stormrider Mount Issue

Ok so i sent in a support ticket and customer service rerouted me here.

Wednesday i bought a Clydesdale mount for $29 and some change (had a coupon). Before i made the purchase i previewed the mount and it was clearly decked out in fiery red armor that looked bad ***. After i made the purchase i went on to make 4 new characters in preparation for double xp. I finished the tutorial and claimed the mount on all my characters (7 in total). I rode it on each character for at least 15 mins each to complete some early quests and whatnot. So far so good, the mount had awesome red armor on every one of my characters. So i logged off and logged back in right after maintenance the next day. To my surprise the Clydesdale with the red armor that i had bought, turned into a Clydesdale that had black and brown armor with a small bit of red near the saddle. Frankly it looks like s*** now and I would like my mount back the way it was before maintenance.

    There are 2 Stormrider mounts. Are you sure you are using the appearance of the correct one? Please verify this in your stable.

    Just checked all 7 characters. I only have 1 stormrider Clydesdale and i looked in the zen store for a comparison. It looks exactly like a medium black horse now.

    Was escalated to a senior GM and he told me "post in the bug report forum" so bumping thread... again.

    Still no word. Is anyone looking into this?

    If not can you just delete this mount and refund me so i can buy a different mount?

    Been over a week since this happened. I'm really starting to think my original title for this post was correct.

    Week 2 and this issue still isn't resolved. Anyone looking into this? Either the mount issue or why it takes 2+ weeks to get something i've already paid for?

    Can you please post some screenshots of the mount? What you expected it to look like (if you have a screenshot) and what it currently looks like?

    This is what the mount looks like now. I didn't take a picture after I bought it, but basically all the armor you see was the same color as the red sash on the side.

    I don't know what you saw, but the only armor that was red in the mount preview picture was the armor worn by the rider (It does look very good). That picture you posted looks exactly the way mine does and always has. I have no idea how or why you saw red armor on the horse and that is probably why you are having difficulty with customer support. This may come across more as a case of buyer's remorse than a bug to them. Previously, I thought you were talking about the blanket (the actual red item) not being red and that's why I didn't comment before.

    My only guess is that there was probably a graphics glitch going on with your console at the time you purchased it, which caused it to appear red. The screenshot you posted is how that particular mount has always looked.

    Oh that's just wonderful. When i bought the mount it was red... when i claimed it on all 7 characters it was red, when i rode it around the day before maintenance it was red.

    I like wanderers fortune, but i paid for a red mount and i hate the way it looks now. I can't believe I have to google something to see what it "really" looks like before i purchase it in game!

    Ok ok is there anything we can do to rectify the situation? Honestly i don't need a refund (gave up on that money long ago), but could i possibly trade in this mount for another 1? I don't care about mount bonuses as much as i care about the way it looks.

    Then I summoned mine to see if it was indeed a glitch.

    I'm not trying to scam anyone. I just want the mount I paid for... If it's still a "glitch" I would like a different mount because I really hate the way it looks. Honestly I would even accept a rare mount or w/e and accept the loss.

    Just saw a guild mate with a gold one now. Didn't get the chance to screenshot before he ran away though, so it can't be a graphical glitch.

    The mount in those last pics you posted isn't the Clydesdale Mount. That is the Medium Pharaoh Steed from the trade bar store. I guess there's a chance that the artwork got switched somehow and then corrected, but I hadn't heard anything about it. Can you look through your mount appearances and see if you have the Medium Pharaoh Steed?

    Nope, I don't have a medium pharaoh steed mount or the appearance for one. I have no idea what happened, but it sure is frustrating!

    Will you go to the Trade Bar Store and preview the Medium Pharaoh Steed and see if that is indeed the mount that you were talking about?

    Either you were mistaken, or there was some sort of bug that got fixed. Given that you have been the only player to report it here, I'm probably going to assume that it wasn't a bug.

    The zen store is different than the trade bar store.... I'm not mistaken. I bought the mount from the zen store. I previewed it before I bought it. Not only that, but I claimed it on 7 characters and used it on each one to do the starting quests. It was red. It looked exactly the same as the pharoah steed you mentioned.

    I can see this issue won't be addressed, so you can close the thread.

    I'd like to see an announcement informing others to screenshot every purchase through the zen store to prevent this from happening to anyone else though... well not prevent it, but to PROVE it when it happens. Thanks
