Ok so I've ran a cw as my main since launch on xbox one and since the issue still hasn't changed figured I would make a post. Our aggro is rediculous there is no reason the class with the weakest armor class should generate the most threat in fbi I'm constantly pulling giants from gfs and ops halfway across fbi and it makes no sense it's not like we are the top dps class anymore hrs and gwfs got that has there been any talk of changing this in future class balance

THE issue is not you can get threat with your damage. The issue is poeple put on pressure the tank for no reason. When you can grab the first mob and stop it from calling all the giants you make the life easier for everyone. I Cant expect from the tank to keep threat vs so many targets dealing heavy everfrost damage because he will have to worry to stay alive.

AND if the tank feels he can tank them all and a giant turn to me and hit me well in this case it will be the tank fault because pulling is one thing keep threat is another.

Threat generation is the same across DPS classes, barring points (wasted) on threat reduction feats or pets. When you do damage, you generate strong threat on whatever you hit. You also generate weaker threat that applies to every mob in the area including freshly pulled mobs. If you are doing a lot of AoE and hitting large numbers of mobs with it, mobs that spawn are going to go for you unless a tank is really doing their job This also applies to healing aggro as well. If you are a Renegade then you may have some of that.

-Make sure to give the tank time to engage.

-Be mindful that you don't splash damage on un-aggroed mobs.

-If you start to attract attention, slow down and try to circle the tank so your 'train' notices them instead.

-If others in the group are pulling mobs without directly attacking, they need to be called on it. The tank should be making the pulls.
