Please Make Greater Ostorian Rings Account Bound

Getting into MSVA runs, and to a lesser extent, FBI runs, is very frustrating for the player base. The lack of support characters is the roadblock to forming more groups.

Those of us who play clerics and tanks have probably completed our legendary mark hunt, and have no real need to run MSVA except to help people. Please make the +5 Ostorian rings account bound to give us incentive to run MSVA.

    Agreed, I can't get a run on my DPS character because of the lack of support classes and have to use my support characters to get runs. While I still am on the hunt for some marks I have enough rings on my support character and with the upcoming changes to the underdark rings, having these rings account bound would help ease the pain.

    I like this idea too. I think in general the game would be better served by encouraging more folks to run alts.

    Unlocking FBI, mSVA, and SP should really work like the edemo unlock does.

    Nothing worse than getting a legendary defense/deflect ring on my control wizard when I have a pally tank that could really use it. No idea why these rings are character bound, no other rings in the game are, poor decision.

    It makes no sense to make these rings character bound other than the everfrost resistance. That's my opinion as to why they made them character bound so you will have to purchase gear with EF to reach the requirement. Either way, it's extremely annoying, especially when underdark rings are account bound.

    Playing devil's advocate:

    Kinda prevents one from levelling a support class to 3200, running a quick fbi, and using the support to farm marks in cheese runs of four dc's two tanks a healadin and 3 control wizards.

    I mean, yeah, be great if they were account bound so i could equip my entire alt army but yeah that could be a little extreme.

    They should have been BtA from the beginning, just like Underdark rings, but since they aren't, please, make it so...

    It's no fun getting a legendary defensive ring on your DPS character, and the only real use for it is salvage :(

    easy fix everyone make a support class and everyone has a dps class if most of u do it you shouldn't have a problem with this. I have all 8 classes and 90% of time I'm requested to play a dc because people are way to lazy to make support of their own. make a gf/or protect pally and a dc.

    Just wanted to bump this. This really needs to happen. Legendary rings are tough to get. Having the ring you want bound to a character you can't use it on is a waste.
