xbox chat and guild mail glitch?

I understand the need to censor foul language in game however everytime i type the words " it is not" or " it isn't" in chat and guild mail this shows as &%$^@##^(. this not only makes it seem like i'm swearing it makes it difficult to understand what is meant. Any thoughts on this?
