Are there any plans for new classes?

Hi, sorry in advance if I didn't make this topic in the right section. I noticed that there aren't any monks in this game. Other classes are missing too, like shamans, druids, bards, but I wanted to make a monk at first. Are the devs making new classes over time?

Eventually, yes, they do plan on it, but they have not announced how soon or what class. If I would have to guess, I would say sometime this year.

OP, Foss mentioned a general/vague interest in a new class during the live stream.
As for how serious, how much invested, how far along in the process and how closely the devs have been following our many, many forum discussions on the topic?

Does that sound like a new class in advance stages of design and implementation?

Yeah after they said that the chat exploded with druid, druid, druid. If i had to guess I'd say that's what the new class will be. I also think it will be at least a year before we see it because mod 11 hasn't dropped on ps4 yet and the devs were also saying that they were already working on mod 12, but they still don't even know what the community wants so i doubt a new class is included in that.

Designing a new class is no where near as easy as modding/revamping an older class that is already in game. Designing a new class you have to consider clothing styles, powers and animation of powers, feats, etc...all of this will impact design and development time. If the devs are not even into the design phase yet, forget this year. Maybe mid 2018 it will come on PC and followed that up on console around October/September next year.

I believe they said on the last stream that they are already in the works on one and they hoped to have it out on PC by the end of this year. Unless I am remembering the stream wrong.
