It says it activates when you use an encounter power while stealthed and gets more powerful with the more damage you do.

How come it doesn't work with smoke bomb?

How come it only works on one target with deft strike?

Is this a bug?

SoD is a single target ability and it works with Smoke Bomb but you first have to activate SB and then go into stealth and wait for SB tick to proc and there your have SoD, still on 1 target. After activating it, all damage you do in next 6 secs will be calculated as SoD hit but halved.

Ah. That's kind of lame, I think that'd be a good buff for TR if it worked like I expected tbh.

All encounters, unless stated otherwise, remove you from stealth.
smoke bomb has a second until it ticks after casting it, it will not proc SOD. So, like said above, SB first. It is effective if you want to fill the SOD with a stealthed flurry. I do this.
Smoke bomb, start flurry, stealth during the bleeding strikes.
