Did Mod 11 changed anything?

As much as I gathered so far, for full dps cw it is better to go thauma ren instead of thauma oppressor. Also obviously trans lightning is a big boost (for now). I'm talking end game player with all those crappy Relic weapons and vivified armor. Is there anything else worth mentioning on pc that we can translate to consoles as a preparation for new mod? What's your opinion on Barkshield compared to negation/soulforge? Is it worth it for our all in all glass cannons? Appreciate any feedback :)

Lesser soulforged for endgame...you will die...so best to be able to stay out of campfire.

    Also, lifesteal is your friend.

For group content, yes, I found Thaum/Renegade to be the best way to go. In most content, you'll blow away the mobs quickly or be able to keep 6 Chill Stacks on target fairly easily. I'd rather pick Abyss, which can add a bit of damage, than pick Icy Veins, which imo seems superfluous for the situations I'm in.

I don't know why you're calling Relic weapons and armor awful, they still are the best options for players at the moment (well, the new weapons have the advantage of being much easier to upgrade). However, yesterday's livestream revealed that a second expansion to Mod11 might bring changes to the Stronghold and Masterwork... so I'm not sure if you want to bet

Before everyone hops onto the "get a T. Bilethorn" train, consider which abilities you use for boss fights. Bilethorn is better on some abilities than others due to their multi-proc nature. If you still run Focused Wizardry, you might want to consider keeping the Vorpal or Dread for Ice Knife/Disitegrate slinging.

For a CW, Barkshield is an interesting case. It is much better than a Negation or Shadowclad for CWs because, you know, squishy wizard syndrome.

Barkshield is good if you're planning on getting hit, but I really don't reccomend that style of play (although I'm sure @thefabricant can give you a bunch of protips at the floor inspector playstyle).
