My Origami Mount - Aberrant Drake

I invested in the Aberrant Drake the other day, because it's a fun, PURPLE, mount. However, at this point, I don't think it was quite ready for release.

I'd posted previously regarding the gaping neck hole that allows me to see through the mount. The orange is from the shingles behind us:


This morning I noticed that the drake has no eyeballs!


While the lack of eyeballs is a semi-cool effect, it's lackluster. :-)

Regardless, I still love my purple drake and hope that you put out more purple and pink stuff.

    The 'Gaping Neck Hole' you described then seems to appear on more than just Armor then.

    The Paladin's Elven Armor you can buy from Sharandar has similar issue. Seems the dark blue cloth that comes down from the Shoulders on the back of each upper arm exists a similar gap in the texture... Hopefully you're post which was very good at showing where the problem exists will allow them to FIX this quickly as you'd think the Drake and/or the Paladin Sharandar Armor purchased with Cresents could be easily corrected--time permitting.

    In your case you'd think the same skin was used for the Very Rare Zen Store version if only colored differently, so it seems a little unusual but can happen as there are many components of the texture. I've seen a few slight changes to Clydesdale Horses with recent changes to their right front texture's showing hanging leather straps, that hang from armor that wrap their lower neck was not their before, and looks someone out of place in contrast to the other side and just doesn't look good period. One day soon I should post a picture of that as well.

    I also wrote to the lead game designer about this issue... so they are aware of this issue with the Drake. That was perhaps a week or two ago. My Paladin also has this mount and not only is the hole in the neck appear, what's odd is as you change angles the hole on the opposite side of texture seems far larger, yet clearly you go to the other side and see it clearly is not..

    It's unfortunately as this is a very nice mount and hope they fix the issues soon... <3
