We got the key change, can we get better loot now?

The loot in every trial, dungeon and skirmish is the same as the before the key change. We are grinding out a new weapon set, for what? To get the same token RP and salvage we get now. We really need loot worth our time and worth the price of keys. I am losing interest in running anything at all.

    I agree. I barely run dungeons nowadays and if I run them? Its to help someone through and not for myself. I do be wishing for something good to drop but nothing. Either way I would hope they can come up with new items or what not to enjoy or make some AD out of because this is absurd.

    Well when they increased drop rate it was too high, we have low item prices due to it still, then they nerfed it back to almost how it was before the change and now again drop rate is bad. They should find some middle drop rate between current low drop rate and high drop rate which we had few days after the change.

    While I admit I do think the 150-160 gear dropping on the rare occasion is a Nice touch for EPIC dungeon's the WAY it should be in addition to those various pieces earned through campaigns. I also think it's very good the odd ZEN item drops every so often... I'm not for generally being disappointed beyond that and I think it's NICE to see the addition of +1 - +3 Companion Gear and I've heard it even can drop in +4 EPIC versions for the new Master Skirmish possibly even a +5 variant but I don't know if that is TRUE.

    I think the ONE thing that would be NICE to potentially earn in game even if BOUND TO ACCOUNT at first then later to CHARACTER would be LOYAL COMPANION GEAR. There seems to be a lot of resistance to that finding a RETURN back into the game and while the Stronghold Companion gear that drop's is OK often you can still CRAFT Personalized Gear at a bit of a cost that's better with two enchantments.

    Still I THINK the often one area that would be good to earn even if on the very Rare occasion is EPIC LOYAL Companion Gear to round out the offering for our most loyal and trusted companions even if exclusive to 2500+ dungeon's. <3

    They probably did significantly increase the loot rate. I'm sure they might have even doubled the drop rates. Now instead of a 0.01% chance of finding a +5 Legendary Ring in a Throne run it's now a whopping 0.02% chance. Ugh.

    Basically rare loot is so incredibly rare that any increase they make will be unobservable by an individual in a month. I've been playing steadily now for about 6 months and have yet to see a single +5 ring of any kind despite hundreds and hundreds of gold runs in Throne, etc. So if I play for 3 months and don't see any that won't tell me if the rate has improved. I'd have to play for several years and compare the drop rates to notice a change. So Cryptic can claim just about anything they want on what the drop rates are and we won't be able to challenge them on it.

    I just want to feel rewarded. Getting 2 +1 rings and a peridot in a Demo feels horrible, not rewarding at all. Those of us with bad RNG have to spend the rest of this game's life saying grats to all those with good RNG over and over, that is not right. We should all leave content with a smile, not envy or disappointment.
    What irks me is there is no other way to get +4/+5 rings. After 5 months of play I finally got my first useful +4 ring -- +4 Ring of Brutality. Until then I got dozens of booby prizes like +4 Ring of Vision or +4 Ring of Charging Bull. Another month has gone by and I haven't seen another good ring and now I have to wait 20 hours to craft a key for each run. No more doing 3 or 4 per day. I expect to get my next usable +4 ring in 2018 at this rate and maybe 2020 before I finally get a +5.

    Something has to be done....

    They should give us options of what we want from chest.

    Much like the

    ¤ (+4 ring)
    ¤ (some artifact weapon)
    ¤ (some armor set part)
    Plus stuff you get that can't be selected
    Aquamarine
    Resonance stone

    I hate paying taxes! Why must I pay thousands of dollars in taxes when everything I buy is taxed anyways!

    I wrote this on Jan 10th, before the keys change went live.
    "The only things we know are that every chest will consume a key, the loot and the progression are managed by a RNG that the players don't love while the game experience collapses on repetitive tasks that no one wants to do again and again unless you don't buy the legendary keys.
    Furthermore even if you grind like a hell or buy the legendary keys, the expected level of reward doesn't match the value for money (or time) invested in the game by the players due to the RNG. This is a lose-lose situation: the players don't take the risk, the company has less revenues, less players or less time spent playing.

    You can get something interesting occasionally , but the overall cost of the risk (RNG) is too high at the point that you don't feel rewarded.
    On the other hand I suspect that there are thousands dungeons keys around from vip that are in the inventory of each player and the funny thing is that I didn't consume them before when I could decline, I don't consume them today because my expected level of reward is too low. So I had 400 keys before as I have 400 keys today.
    My personal statistics say that I get "something" one dungeon out of ~15 and most of the time the value of the items is very low or I don't know what to do with them. As a first step I would delete the BoA attribute from all the loots: at least I can sell the items if I don't need it.
    I found 3 BoA augement companions: the first went to one of my alts but two are in my bank unused and it's likely that I have to discard them.

    Finish CN = blue ring. Gold finish Throne/ PoM = blue ring. Gold finish Edemo = useless +3 ring. Finish Epic Spider = epic armor..

    So an easier dungeon drops more useful items(if you are a starting player looking for purple armor) and harder dungeons drop trash? Why would a top geared character run anything in this game? What happened to completing a dungeon and actually getting something nice and unique to that dungeon at the end? Adventuring is going in not knowing what to expect not going in with a dozen different keys and still getting a blue quality item.

    C'mon darn it, Im playing a 4k toon and the best thing I can think of while in game is what other game to download and play instead.

    The worst thing is that they treat us like idiots.
    they increased the loot chance the first days after the key change so we feel better, and now the rewards are like before but with a paywall. Like we dont notice this. New skimirsh is the same, 10 runs, 10 +1 rings.

    Some day they will notice that giving players rewards for the time invested is a good thing. Maybe will be so late.

    I have gotten some really nice drops. The best single item went for 450K in the AH.

    demonmongor, that i did propose same idea few months ago, on old topics.
    STO did have successful concept on reward list after you completed a mission, you pick one of multiple items and rest are random loots and they added "weekly" prize update to pick any new console devices.

    also good idea for using the profession crafters to make upgrades.

    i never like that "RNG" formula. it bad for most players getting shafted and few get them almost all the time, it almost like we do get "Wi-Flagged" on accounts. most of us want that RNG perma retire from dungeon runs and craftings, it belong to lockboxes only and they decide to become greedy by putting RNG on everything plus "paywall progression".

    i dont like playing Casino, i want my RPG back.

    I have better odds of winning at Roulette in Vegas while totally smashed. I am NOT buying anymore Legendary keys, I am tired of getting +1/+2 rings and the occasional rank 8 silvery.

    If I spend money, there should be a higher chance...PERIOD! Stop HAMSTERING WITH US!
