they were bought by Warner bros few years ago when they need dev team for "Infinity Crisis".
anyway, Asheron's Call was one of original MMO with original Everquest and UO, launched in late 1999, i started in March 2001 as my first MMO, and also Asheron's Call 2 was the first next generation before it got polished and prematurely shut down, and then created LotRO and DDO, many of diehard players wanted upgraded version of original theme with newer graphic for years.
also AC2 was the first next generation mmo to die before EQ2 amd WoW released, and revived back in 2012 with no new fresh patches.
Asheron's Call and AC2 just closed on Jan 31, 2017.
i really want to do Asheron's Call trilogy as "Chroncles of Derethians", starting as "Lost Relics of the Ancients", and 2nd would be "Shadow War Saga", and "Shards of Singularity" for Foundery series, but i cant do it anything since it is still down and lack of custom placements and exotic creatures, Foundery seem incomplete and not enough options to work with.
it is unique fantasy theme that dont have elves, dwarves, or orcs like all other MMO games do, except almost Horizons "Istaria of the Gifteds" with playable dragons starting as hatchlings before reaching "Rites of Passages" into adult and ancient dragons in later advanced levels which it is still also unique.
come on devs, fix the Foundery please!
