    HP, Defence, AC, AoE resist, Temp.HP, Negation, Barkshield, energon and other similar companions, etc-> protect player from damage.
    Deflect, control resist stat, control resist boons, elven battle, control resist from companions, etc-> protect from control.

    You dont build one to get the other.
