Action point gain (rating) not working?

Why is it that i gain 1000 action point gain rating (+8.1% ap gain) from my mythic tiamat orb artifact, some mount insignias and a little from armor kits but the rating doesn't transfer to the overall action point gain percentage but when I put stamina gain on, it shows a increase in recharge speed in the overall stat meter? Same with all the other rating, they all show a increase in overall percentages. If this is a bug then I wasted my time and ad on upgrading my tiamat orb and putting AP gain armor kits on my rings.
