Never seen this before.I just put a significant amount of gear on my Hunter Ranger(significant being not much, from 500 to 2000 but significant change) that I abandoned for a long time, and just running the easy dungeons for RAD i'm getting these blue X's over my encounters and at wills so I can't use them.Is their a Total Item Level you can't go over to run the easy stuff?I'm sure this is a pretty noob question,I did search around, any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

I appreciate the feedback.I figured it was something that has been seen on a normal basis therefore not needing a screenshot,i'm surprised that it isn't to be honest. It lasted pretty much the entire Cloak Tower after the first initial fights, and by fights I don't mean boss' just regular maybe after 3 or 4,I have not run any other dungeons since then,so I can't say if this problem persists outside of that dungeon, but if I had to bet i'm assuming it does.

I'm turning it back on now so I can run it and get a screen cap.Ok just ran it again, took some screen shots, and like the last few times I ran it it came after a few fights and lasted the rest of the dungeon basically making my Hunter Ranger a Great Weapon Fighter cause all my other skills were disabled.

editing with screenshots ....hmmm not sure about this format,I guess i'll just post a straight link, sorry about that =/ (atleast you know imgur and know it's not bs).So readers digest version, this link shows the continuous screenshots through the whole dungeon with the blue X's over my skills which like I said doesn't let me use them.

Oh and not that it needs to be said, but I have played this game since it came out and been an RPG fan since '86,I tried to figure this out,but I don't know,so I really appreciate any help.

It shows you are in combat stance, as far as I know. Tab should change you back into range attack.

omg,I knew it was something so simple. It's literally my first and only hunter ranger,so that makes sense.Kinda dumb though,to have to switch back and forth, but it is what it is,and I should have an understanding of my character but I been lazy and leveling like a HAMSTER.I really appreciate it guys,I shoulda figured it out but I mostly work and don't get in enough game time. Thanks again.Make's sense.

There would literally be no other way to swap out all your ranged powers for melee powers though... that is what the Tab key does for Hunter Rangers, swaps your ranges powers for melee and vice-versa. Also, I am pretty sure Knox should of had a quest for you that would have explained the mechanic to you! :)

When all your skills have the crossed sword icon at the top of them then they are in "melee mode" and are different skills from when you are in "ranged mode". Have you not noticed on your Powers screen that each power has two versons? Ranged and Melee forms of each power?
