Hello all, my name is Rafael, Im a master in advanced linguistics from Brazil and I aim at a position within PW. Let me start telling you the improvements I imagine for the game. Let's consider im pretty new to the game, being my main char level 68. Here we go:
1- Flying mounts and falying combat.
2- Followers of your char, mule for equipment (private magician, store, squire, etc.)
3- Ranking of players in one guild with status which can be showed and general ranking with positions such as ONE king, ONE queen, ONE court magician, etc. HUuuuuuge rewards for these people, the best of the best.
Thats it foe now... see you all in the field!

The engine, controls and targeting are quite 2 dimensional. Cast any AoE ( eg. Icy terrain) on a hill or stairs and you'll agree.
It would require a complete rework of the combat mechanic. They cannot even fix major class bugs. How likely are they to do a major overhaul?
As a side note, PWE is in the middle of layoffs... you might find more job security elsewhere.

On a side not ... Guild fool sounds good too. Guild knight..... Guild cook. ..Guild SOMI fisherman , Guild treasure hunter......
I don't mean to be a bummer but flying mechanics in the game have been ruled out numerous times in the past. The way the game renders graphics just make it impractical.
Back in the "good ol' days" people like me used to drive the developers crazy by going places they didn't intend for us to go. Climbing to the tops of buildings in Protector's Enclave quickly showed the reason the game doesn't support flying. Images don't quite do it justice but by getting to vantage points like this basically everything in the map flickers when the camera moves.
If you can convince them it is worth spending the money to change more power to you but that is one of the 'far too expensive to even consider' requests.
But yes, with the way this game handles geometry enabling flying would open a particularly interesting world of issues with how the game renders.
Like I said, I used to drive the devs crazy going where they don't want me to. In the Vault of the Nine there is that lovely Goonie's Pirate Ship Silhouette. I had a blast exploring the ship. They fixed my way to get out there though.
You should be proud of it. I know i am. I still find the roof exploring in Strongholds the best fun ever.
