So I started playing NWN about four days ago after having not touched it in three years. I'd wanted to create a guild and log in and play with strong holds, resume some of the end game content I was playing through to discover amazingly that there was all kinds of new refinements. For the most part, I am loving them.
However. I build a Simpit, with substantially better hardware then my old machine. My issue is thus - the old system runs Neverwinter at a near perfect 60 fps. The new system struggles in some areas, and it seems to be relating to how it loads texture maps or large 3d objects.
The old machine:
AMD FX 8150
12 GB of Ram (DDR3-1066)
ATI R7 200 series
And a bunch of old magnetic drives.
The new machine:
Intel i7 6700K
16 GB DDR 4 (3600mhz)
ATI r9 200 series (270)
And SSDs.
It's annoying, fortunately I haven't had to resetup my old box to play the game (it stays setup as it is often used for work), but I would like to play the game on the newer machine. The setup is more comfortable for gaming, and less awkward.
All drivers are most up to date on both systems, the only difference is one is running windows 7, the other windows 10.
Any ideas on why there would be issues?

Which is another reason I got rid of 10.
