Finding Armor Pen + Crit?

Hey, I know this is the dumbest of questions, but where do I find my Armor pen % and my crit strike %? I look under the stats screen but I dont really see where it lists the % of what they are, the PC versons from screen shots I have seen have it clearly listed..I might be blind or looking in the wrong spot though.

Arm Pen is not listed as a %, it is a contributor to Resistance Ignored which is a %. You can see the % added to RI by moving the cursor over to the Armpen number. You only need enough ArmPen to get your RI to 59.5 for any PvE content. 55% is adequate for most, it covers everything in the game except Tiamat.

Scrolling down the list (it goes beyond the bottom of the screen) you will come to Offensive and Healing. Crit chance and Crit severity are the first 2 numbers and RI is the third. Continue scrolling to see all the stats and categories.

Below are the attributes in game for both offensive and defensive that really matte. Hope this helps you out.
    • Power = improves your over all damage but should not be the main focus for any damage dealer as you need the other offensive stats to ensure you are reaching max damage potential
    • Critical Strikes = Critical Chance. 400 Points in critical strike = 1% increase in your critical chance.
    • Critical Chance = % chance to land a critical hit
    • Armor Pen = Resistance Ignored. 100 Points in Armor Pen = 1% increase in resistance ignore.
    • Resistance Ignore = Armor of enemies your attack ignores
    • Recovery = Recharge Speed and Action Points gained. 200 Points in Recover = 1% increase in recharge speed and 400 point = 1% increase in Action Point Gain
    • Recharge Speed = Decrease your ecnounter cool downs
    • Action Point Gain = Increase how quickly you can use your daily
    • Critical Severity = increase to your bonus critical damage

    Defensive Stats:
    • Armor Class: 50% of your armor class that exceeds 10 add to damage resistance. 38 AC - 10 = 28 * 50% = 14% increase to damage resistance
    • Damage resistance = decrease incoming damage by damage resistance % (highest you can have is 80%)
    • Defensive = Damage Resistance. 400 Points in defense = 1% increase in Damage Resistance
    • Deflect = Deflection Chance. 400 Points in deflect = 1% increase in Deflection Chance
    • Deflection Chance = % chance to deflect an attack
    • Deflection Severity = % damage of damage reflected
    • Life Steal = Life Steal Chance. 400 Points in life steal = 1% increase in life steal chance
    • Life Steal Severity = increase to life steal damage

    To expand on this slightly:

you can actually stack "more" than 80% DR. Given that most PvE enemies have 15% RI, you would want to stack 95% DR to maximize your Survivability. Any extra DR (ex: 105%, 120%, etc.) after dealing with enemy ArmorPen is wasted, as the game rounds down your effective DR to 80%.

Also, AoE Resist contributes to DR. (also: just because something has a red circle, does not mean it is an AoE attack. the red circle is simply telling you "move or die"). If you're at the DR cap, AoE resist is effectiveless useless.

Incoming Healing also affects your Lifesteal potency (the exact % that it affects Lifesteal is unknown).

Resistance Ignored is a combo of your ArmorPen stat and your class's ability score (ex: GF: DEX etc.). So if you're overstacking on RI, remember to factor in your class's ability score (if it has one) to determine how much ArmorPen to drop.

"Special" stats such as Action Point Gain, Combat Advantage Bonus, Control Bonus, or AoE Resist hit severe diminishing returns around 1200ish, so you should just stack around 1000ish of those special stats and call it a day.

    This is great info....thank you!
I've never played this yet (Played plenty of older neverwinter) but I came to the forums for a little insight on how things work here. This helped peak my interest.
I just got it downloaded and will likely give it a shot tonight.... you know, after some build/class/race research too ;)

    • Deflection Severity = % damage of damage reflected
    • Life Steal Severity = increase to life steal damage
Small things (sorry if it's nitpicky):

Deflection is how much damage deflected or in other words the person being damaged will receive (100% - Deflection %)
Damage reflection is separate mechanics that deals damage to the attacker upon certain conditions, some on deflect some on attack or other things..

Life steal severity is how much HP will be gain as percent of the damage dealt. 100% is what you deal is what you get (with AoE is 30% by or something even though it's 100% charsheet)
It is not "increase" like power is written where 100% will be x2 of the damage dealt, but in this case 100% will be x1 of the damage dealt.
