Is he immune to attack? I just ignore him as the named giants don't seem to drop anything or serve any purpose, but normally if you get close enough or attack they will aggro. Assuming you haven't tried, go up on his <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> deck and see what hits the fan.

Most of the named mobs drop items which give you a quest you can complete for 50 voninblod, not worth wasting time on.

That's true in BS-LW-CR but the few times I've fought named giants in SoMI, they had no unique drops. Perhaps they have a chance at such a drop, but Grishnak, Cragclaw, The Returned etc... always drop the item if uou haven't done the quest during the same server day. I assume then that yhe named giants have no associated quests.

As to worth of doing them, it depends on the quest for me. The ice mephits, giant rations and troll bones quests aren't bad if you have room to store the items or if you are doing BHE. The various ones in CR (except Frostfire) tend to be worth doing if you see the mod. The ones in BS not so much since the turn in is outside the town.
