XB1 relic restoration reagents. discussion or rant?

so im getting extremely sick of farming HE's now.. every effing day its the same chit.. lanolin drop rates are disgusting and so are turtle moults. everything revolves around flocking HE's. want to restore your relic armour? go farm lanolin for weeks till your eyes bleed. want to restore your relic weapons? yeah me too, cool, go farm turtle moults till your eyes bleed then go farm some more flocking lanolin to make the reagents. want to buy the reagents? better have a fat HAMSTER wallet to do so.. 40k ea average price of lanolin & moults lol its atroshous.. id guess the prices might be decent if the drop rates werent so bad? then again if they werent so bad you wouldnt be feeling like wanting to buy them right? is it just me or is anyone else sick of the never ending farm??? oh yeah want to upgrade your relic weapons lol? go farm more HE's for storm giant support, go fish for elk tribe support, come back to this pos SOMI on a daily basis to do your dailys for the other chit you need to open the chests in msva without spending stupid amouts of AD on dragon keys lol f this game man

i used to enjoy playing NW... whats your thoughts on the SKT mod and the endlesss farm that comes with it?

I get more turtle moult and lanolin from maps than I do from HE's.

My advice is pick a god and pray for good drops.

Because the RNG Goddess is out to get you in Mod 10.

(for me, the treasure maps seemed to be pretty good for dropping Lanolin, Moults, and other Relic junk. Your milage may vary based off your luck though).

Wait for River District.

You're only missing Svardborg, which ends up being a "whack a loot pinata" fest, and FBI, which is a more engaging dungeons than most Tier2s.

If you can live without those, then the River District will give you similar weapons but with less grind.

Farm the artifact materials, like moults, lanolins, etc., as if you wanted to restore the Relic stuff, but sell them on the AH as soon as you get them. The prices will be high at first, but in time will lower, and if you decide you want the Relic Weapons, buy the mats you need later on the AH at reduced prices. Otherwise just sell them and reap the profits while waiting for easier to get weapons from the next mod.

I'm on PC and that's how I wished I had done it. I'd be several million AD richer.

I'm on PC and that's how I wished I had done it. I'd be several million AD richer.

'in hindsight'-man tells you: Do as he said. I wasted much time and millions of ADs on this without a legendary artifact weapon to show for the time/ ADs spent.

I am not even sure I want this relic gear or the weapons, How powerful do I really need to be? With fully refined gear and a second best artifact set I can kill everything I can get into, not sure why I need new stuff, it seems like buying the newer sports car that can go even faster than the last one, but the speed limit has not changed.

I like to try new content but the entry fees are too steep and I fear I will never see the content that is gated behind gear (28% frost resist) and the grinding to get there. The SKT dailies are pretty steep, I am on Xbox still trying to catch up all my alts and now I have even more content to play in the Ice Sea, I am just basically falling behind and losing the desire to catch up. I like that they hinted at not having mod 11 be another set of dailies, that should help.

Fishing for treasure maps yields restoration items, but I don't have the weapons so I just sell it all. My RNG luck on the treasure maps has not been as good as others but its a nice distraction to the dungeon key changes...the map part, not the fishing part.
