Why are SKT keys not able to be used for end of SKT content?

I think it is absolutely ridiculous that the Ancient Runic Keys you make in the Storm King's Thunder campaign can't open the end of campaign (Master Svardborg) chests. This does not make any sense at all. please let me use my Ancient Runic Keys to open these chests.

    That would probably make them remove the other way to open those chests. I think most people who still run Svardborg, would not enjoy that too much.
