Steal time / teleport

I have noticed this for a good while now, so it has probably been mentioned before.

When you do steal time during or imminently after a teleport, the encounter goes straight on cooldown without going off.

I tried to reproduce this by spamming the button for Steal Time during my teleport. Steal Time activated and did damage according to the combat log.

Can you provide exact reproduction steps?

It is all I can provide for now. I'll try to get some more detail on it when I get to play again. It happens when I'm going to Steal Time after a teleport. Not sure if it happens every time, but I have seen it happen several times.

If I press Steal Time during or immidinently after teleport, Steal Time goes to a 12-14 sec cooldown, nothing else happens.

I have had it happen so many times lately that I have started to adapt my play style to it. I will try to find ways to reproduce it when I get some more time to play. I am not sure what could be causing it. I'm playing on a commonly set up SS thauma CW.

I have never actually checked my combat log, so it could have done some under the hood damage. I do not get any indications that the spell did work in game, tho. No animation and no damage numbers.

I usually have steal time on 'E' button. When this happens, I press it briefly towards the end of, or right after the teleport.

Might you be tab cancelling the animation and the power actually does go off? Use Act and watch to see if it does actually go off!

Yes, that could be it. I can't get act to run on my computer, or I would. I do tend to tab after ST quite often.

I have a similar experience. Haven't done any testing but since you mentioned it now I'll pay attention to it.

I have seen this happen with any ability.
Usually, it happens if you teleport and send off an encounter right after rematerializing.
Due to this and another oddity I came across with the teleport, I rarely use it.
(If I teleport forward, my char usually takes two or three steps back right after it - which renders this ability quite useless if you try to escape a mob. These two issues might be related.)
