pvp2k - the solo queue option

So, I made this channel in game pvp2k.

The channel is open for everyone. The channel is an option to the solo queue that never seems to be permanently enabled.

The idea is that we all que up simultaneously.

It works like this:

1. Someone shout; All que!
2. Everyone in the channel that wants to solo pvp enter the que.
3. When que pops, all that get it say 'pop'.
4. If 6 or more people say pop at the same time, we are almost guaranteed to not meet a premade. So we enter the game.
5. If less then 6 people say pop, we leave que and start over again.

There are no restriction on il or experience. It is made so that everyone have a chance to play pvp without facing the endless torture of being set up against full premades. Hopefully the bigger pvp guilds will respect that we do this sometimes and try not to interfere. Actually I encourage some the people in the bigger guilds to be in the channel, so that they can see when we que, and try to avoid sending their premades in at the same time. It would be great for us, and it would be great for them. When we que, you have to expect that a lot of us are not properly geared and experienced for pvp.

Hopefully this can help us all to enjoy pvp more. It will be easier for everyone to do pvp daylies, farm Conquerer Shards and have some pvp fun. Making pvp for everyone and not just the elite.

Maybe, hopefully they won't tho. If the do, we'll have to start moderating it. I'm hoping at least if we get some support from the pvp guilds, we might be able to limit the abuse.

Yea, I'm hoping for some help from pvp players to spread it. We don't mind a few pro pvp players, as long as they come solo like the rest of us, and don't give us tons of HAMSTER for being bad and poorly geared. That is what you have to expect.

Interesting. The channel is freely available for use by characters with 4000+ gearscore?

Yes, everyone can join. It is not the gear score that is important. As long as everyone goes in solo, we are all good.

The name 2k is merely to show that there are no gear requirements. Plus it follows a tradition of naming channels in this game.

Finally a thread that is about taking action for Neverwinter PvP instead of a list of problems (these being important to acknowledge ofc) ! I tried the channel this afternoon and we had a couple of really nice pvp matches, with a nice bunch of players. Time will tell if it can sustain itself through item level disparities, but at first glance it is a very good effort.

I applaud the initiative as well. I just hope this doesn't turn into the pmvspm channel where people just trash talk other players and guilds.

It is not a problem, yet. We will see when we get more people in there. If it becomes a problem, we will deal with it. As mentioned earlier. Trash talk is not welcome.
