What's up with the queue system to get into epic demogorgon. I sit in queue for hours at a time and I then when I get in they always vote to abandon it. For about a month now I have been trying to get the twisted ichors so I can get the twisted weapons and so far I have 7.
I sit in queue and have a hard time getting in. The longest I think I have sat in queue before I shut the game off has been about 7 hours.
My character is not all that weak but not all the strong either. I am a scourge warlock about 2700 item level and around 15000 power.
Any ideas what I can do to try to get in and play thru so I can get the twisted stuff? Why is the queue system so bad?
I have tried to send messages in game to get people to run with but I never get anyone to respond.
Thanks

I think your best bet for edemo runs if you are not a gleaming high-geared player is to join a guild in a good alliance. This will make it MUCH easier to find groups to play with (edemo and everything else) and the guild boons are also nothing to scoff at.
Good luck!
Oh, I'm also a 2700-ish Scourge Warlock. Represent!
And she says yes. What's your character's name?
If you're on after I've come off, look for Dreamweaver
That said, it is always a good idea to try and get a tank and healer in your own queue group, cos that speeds up your chances, and your group needs to be capable of winning, cos if you don't get Gold in the first part, that's when the Vote to Abandon Instance inevitably happens.
Likewise, if you don't have mega dps you need to target Goristro into the ONE gold arch, or you won't get Gold, and again... Vote To Abandon... It's not as easy to just pound on him and let him charge the blue zone as it is in normal Demo.
If you can get 10 players, its worth splitting your tank and healer into seperate queue groups to improve the chance of you hitting the event together, and also talk about how you are going to approach it.
Don't just assume that there will be someone with 4.2K IL who will do all the heavy lifting. It does require more thought and tactics than normal, and if you pile in expecting the standard version with more HP, and a bit more damage, you'll miss Gold... and that means no one will want to see it through to the end.
But don't worry, the Alliance groups we do get Gold 99% of the time.
