Wonderers's Fortune won't give items wtf?

kroogerfxxkroogerfxx Member Posts: 9 Arc User
I just set up wonderer's fortune and it will proc and say "Wonderers fortune" Across my screen but wont actually give me anything. What the hell is going on. I log on my other toon and it works for him, it procs and then shows the image of what I got at the side and it's in my bag.

Anyone know why it won't work on my main? I'm pissed, only reason I bought this mount...

It happens to me as well but its like it will proc and sometimes give me items and sometimes not. I think also the longer you play the less amount of items will drop. I notice in the mornings when I get on i get a lot of drops as I log in in the after noon and put a few more hrs in the drops become more infrequent.

I just assume since its not a 100% chance it will only drop items occasionally.

IIRC Wanderer's Fortune gives a 4% drop chance of a refining stone. Therefore when it procs, you have a 4% chance for anything to appear. A proc does not guarantee a drop: slightly under 1 in 20 procs will drop a stone. That said, I have seen it drop lots in a row followed by a big period of nothing. For more reliable refining stone drops, slot Dragon's Hoard Enchantments (from Tyranny of Dragons campaign) into each utility slot. Ranks 9s give 2% drop chance each, so with all four it's 8% permanently.

It only works for so many items then it slows right down but will still proc best way to do it is play until it slows down 30 mins or so then log off for about around 2 hours it use to be only a hour but seems to have increased in time. But then when you log back in it will start procing and dropping again. There are a ton of people who have posted results on this just search Google.

    Most of this is wrong...

Wanderers Fortune gives you an RP-item every time it procs, but it is capped at an undisclosed amount of RP, and when that cap is reached, you will see the text, but you will not get anything.
It starts to work again after a few hours or so, but might not give as much as it initially did.

The same goes for the Dragons Hoard, it is also capped, so after a ceratin amount of RP, you will get nothing, or a pearl once in a while.

Upgrading Dragons Hoard is pretty much a waste of RP due to the cap, a lot better alternative is Fey-blessing which currently is un-capped for now.

Ideally, you would run 1 Dragons Hoard, 1 Quartermaster (but as many QM as possible when you open the containers) and Fey blessings in the rest of your utility slots.

Wanderers Fortune is still great, and when I reach the cap, I usually switch to an alt for a while, or just accept the fact that it's capped...
