How long is it going to take for the most expensive companion in the game to get an active bonus?

I've submitted numerous bug reports, posted a thread in the bug section, and taken every possible step I can think of to get this resolved, and it's never worked. And I know I'm not the only one.

The lightfoot thief is currently selling for a modest sum of 13.2m AD on the AH. The lightfoot thief was a rare drop from SCA, and has always been one of the most expensive companions in game.

It's supposed to cause bleed damage on critical hits. However, it effectively has no active bonus in game, this effect is never triggered. I have tested this, so have many others, including @thefabricant .

Not only that, the lightfoot thief is supposedly incapable of proccing any insignia bonuses that are triggered by a companion. I have not personally tested this, but was told this by @thefabricant , who's testing capabilities far outweigh mine.

It's not fair for players to be scammed into wasting 13 million AD for a companion that is broken in multiple ways.

Maybe if I post it in the main section, something will MAYBE be done about it. At least awareness of this will be spread so people stop wasting money on this broken companion.

    Unfortunately, "expensive, rare, and no longer available in game" translates to "affects VERY few users", which translates to "low fix priority".

    If it was one of the white companions given free to all new players, or if it was a current CTA reward or Zen promotion? It would probably get fixed a lot faster.

    Doesn't make me feel any better, I have a bound useless 10m AD companion sitting in my bag.​​

    I thought that the LF thief was desirable due to the fact that it can multiproc bonding runestones? Did they fix that or something?

    That was before they changed bonding stones to only have one stack of companion's gift. Now the only value it has is due to scarcity and it's far from being the most expensive companion.

    i have lightfoot thief and it deals damage but is not so big.

    It's not about the companions damage, my issue is that it's active bonus doesn't work at all.

    Calling it the most expensive companion is pretty wrong, did you forget Sgt. Knox, Cambion Magus, and most expensively Ambush Drake? And, I believe the bonus does work, but the ticks are very small. Can't remember too well though, he was retired for over a year now.

    The active bonus works, it is broken only with some skills. If you say "this effect is never triggered" you are not reporting it in the correct way.
    He doesn't trigger the insignia bonuses with Sly Flourish, he does with Deft Strike (but this skill has 20 seconds cooldown...).

    I have never ever seen him proc in ACT, and trust me, I've looked.​​

    I have lightfoot and it is working... active bonus has always worked... but you need to read how it works again maybe?

    It's a bit like bile thorn weapon enchantment, but it only effects targets around your base target.

    All.targets near the base target take bleed damage on critical hits.

    (and as katamaster said, it would be nice if the Lightfoot Thief had a working active bonus. I have a Lightfoot on my CW...)

    But did it sell? I can post something for 50 million, and if it doesn't sell, its still not worth 50 million.
