Winter Festival Slalom Race Slower than Ever

The Winter Festival is my favourite Neverwinter Event in spite of the Race glitches.

I truly had expectations that after 3 years the intermittent race slowdown would have been corrected.
In the past, dismounting and remounting was sufficient to regain normal speeds.
Not so this year.
Regardless of whether the mount is uncommon , rare or epic, they crawl at slower than walking speed.
Dismounting/remounting has no effect.
The only way to achieve any speed at all is to race on foot.
In game chat reflects that this is not an isolated incident

Please look into this soonest.

I'm seeing the same problem in Twilight Run - it doesn't matter which mount I use they can't get from gate to gate before time runs out and I'm hitting invisible obstacles that stop me cold. Dismount/remount doesn't fix it anymore. It's a real shame, this event is my favorite, too.

Ditto, last time I was able to get around 4000 points easily. Struggled to get 2800 this time, seems like the speed chevrons are narrower?? (probably my failing memory!)
It just feels awkward and even less fluid than previously.
