Alchemist Experimenter as a companion for a top level GWF?

Im currently using an alchemist experimenter with 3 perfect bondings as a 3.5k GWF. I know many of you will reccomend the fire archon but Ide rather not use him as hes very common. Ide like to continue using the alchemist as he has 3 offensive slots and is ranged but im not sure how companions gift works with him VS other companions please help me.
