Getting to max upgrades

Hey people, the infamous newb here again.

So, I could use some advice on getting the materials to upgrade weapons/artifacts to max... I got dragon horde's (levels range 1-3%) and 1 of the bears that gives the drop bonus, but it seems all that ever drops is peridots and white pearls...which is good and all, a stack of peridots on 2x weekends is 99k points, but it takes aton of stacks to get anywhere when your getting into the last leg or two of fully upgradeing gear... any advice or tips? or a good farming location

I saw a video on youtube of a guy using rank 5 enchantments to upgrade artifacts. They appear to give a lot of experience and are pretty common drops. Start saving them up (or buy em if your rich enough) to use for upgrading your gear. (the fey enchantment rune has these drop the same way dragon hoard works so putting 1 or more in your utility slots could help speed things up)

I run all the sharndar as often as I can. The rewards are good for refining weapon and armor enchants, and most importantly, bonding runes. I seem to get higher refinement stones/gems when I run celedain. Plus you can make more fey blessing enchant in the campaign, and use extra cresents for the good potions at the rewards vendor in old sharandar.
Dred ring is great for refinement too..

To add: get feeder artifacts and level those. Not artifact gear.. At double refinement feed them in, and enjoy! Just be sure they match (union, power, stability)

Sharandar will provide Thamaturgic stones, Dread ring provides Power/Stability/Union stones, The Underdark - Mantol Derith provides Resonance stones. Do those daily.

The Lords Armoured Polar Bear mount for various gems & refinement stones.

Dragon Hoarde Enchantment - Various Gems & Refinement Stones.

Quartermasters Enchantment - Various enchantment stones upto Rank 7, misc professions, skill kits & potions.

You can also refine your artifact equipment with similar artifact equipment - Artifact cloaks can be used to refine artifact cloaks for 2x exp. Works the same way with artifacts - Union for union, Power for power, etc but at a higher bonus exp rate i think.

Pick up and identify L70 equipment and refine your artifact equipment as you adventure for 100-300 refinement per item, that's an extra 1k+ refinement just adventuring.

Trade House - Keep an eye out for deals on refinement stones, sometimes people will sell dirt cheap when they're hurting for AD.

Run your dailies and over time you will get enough refinement items to improve the items to the next level. If you are smart and have inventory space, save the refinement items until double refinement and than use the refinement items during double refinement to boost the gear quicker.

Once you have 3 other professions to L25 you can level leadership. Once maxed you can produce at least 6 resonance stones per day (with purple rank crafters) plus 6 thaums and 6 random artifact stones and it doesn't cost anything once you have it set up. It's advisable to use alts for this too as it multiplies your output.

I got quite afew dragon horde enhantments, ((rangeing from rank 1 to 3, I have one thats R11, I believe)), is there any good killzones? yall recomend to farm up some gems?
