New weapons

Hi a friend of mine told me that there is supposed to be a update where there's new weapons that are going to be stronger and better than the twisted weapons coming in Jan. is this true and will there be posts like patch notes on them?

    The new weapons come out on the new mod update (10.5) which we don't have a date for yet.
