The Right Weapon Enchantment

So, I practically live in my head and was thinking is Vorpal (understandably for a high crit build, this would yield the highest potential DPS from such build) the only satisfactory weapon enchantment, or could it be possible that there are others that might yield. If anyone has or could comment on this, I'd be grateful. I am looking to start testing in multiple (high crit and high recovery builds) scenarios on preview to see how this would roll out. This is purely to please my curiosity of off the wall builds with less used gear/enchants combos.

    From a PvE perspective...

Feytouched can work on power-based builds. Although you need to watch out for the usual caveats of "downtime if not Transcendent" and "the person with the highest rank Feytouched is the only one who gets the buff".

Dread is not that great on a GWF: most of our DPS comes from atwills, of which Dread does not boost. You could get some higher IBS/Daggers numbers, but your DPS will suffer compared to a vorpal.

I think there was a thread a while back which talked of the merits of a Plaguefire on a GWF, but Plaguefire is best for debuffing rather than dishing out damage.

65%+ crit vorpal all the way, though if you're 50-60% going fey and slotting steel blitz certainly gets the job done as well.

I am considering taking a Bronzewood, Plague, Fey and Vorp to Mimic and testing different scenarios. One that I had in mind is if our feats will add to what the Bronzewood does. Another would be doing a max power build (with my current gear that is towards a high Crit build) and slotting a Fey. I think my numbers are somewhere in the higher 25k in power and a min of 55% crit with that concept.

I did some playing around and did modify my current build that is based upon Lia's. I added in Steel Blitz and it does a decent chunk (about 8-10% per fight, or 15% for a two minute round with a dummy). I did notice that it will crit. I do have a screenshot of ACT on one encounter where it crit for 19% of the time.

In terms of numbers, and the reason why I even created this post, is that Perfect Bronzewood and greater ignores 16% of the targets armor. This reduces the reason on why to use DS and opens up BF instead.

Perhaps I am thinking situational, but would rather have more passives that add damage bonus so that will leave room for another encounter that could add to DPS instead of buffing. Perhaps having a Vorpal on hand with other enchants is what I am looking for, or having a solo weapon and a group/raid weapon.

Keep in mind Bronzewood isn't a mark and does not count for a mark (like DS), hence it'll never substitute all the benefits you get from DS.

Point noted. I definitely appreciate any help. The GWF is definately a strong class, and just like to see all opportunities explored for this wonder class within Neverwinter.
